The game was rough. The players were tough.
They all laughed in the end. “It's only a game. we are all friends.”
Then Mango said, “Oh wow! “What do you see?”
“Is that Pineapple? Could it be?”
“He has a girlfriend now! Who is she?”

Take a chance
Every year at springtime, the birds had a singing contest. The best singer was given a golden egg as a prize.
Little Red Robin loved to sing, but she was very shy. She only sang by herself, deep in the forest.
On the day of the contest, Robin’s best friend, Brown Sparrow, heard Robin singing alone on a branch. The song was beautiful. Sparrow hopped onto the branch beside her friend. Robin was surprised and stopped singing immediately.
“Don't stop !” said Sparrow. “You sing so beautifully! You should join the contest!”
“Oh, no,” said Robin shyly. “I could never do that. The other birds sing much better than I do.”
“Not true !” chirped Sparrow. “Your voice is the best I have ever heard! You must join the contest!”
“I couldn't,” insisted Robin. “Everyone would look at me. I would be too afraid to sing!”
“Be strong!” said Sparrow. “You can close your eye if you want!.” “Oh, but even if I joined, I could never win,” said Robin.
‘Take a chance!” insisted Sparrow.
“Even if you don't win, it doesn't matter. But believe in yourself like I do!
Sparrow agreed, and they both flew to the Great Oak Tree where the contest had already begun.
All the birds of the forests were there, trying their best to win the golden egg.
Bird after bird sang, and each song seemed lovelier than the last. This made Robin feel very nervous. Finally, it was her turn to sing.
“Oh! cried Robin to Sparrow. “I'm too nervous! My heart is beating so fast !”
“Take a chance” ! said Sparrow. “I'll be right here to support you!”
Robin flew to the high branch. Everyone was looking at her!
All those eyes watching made her so nervous that only a weak little peep came out of her beak.
Then Sparrow called from below, “You can do it, Robin. Close your eyes and believe in yourself!”
Her friend's words made Robin feel stronger. Maybe she could do it. So, she closed her eyes and began to sing. It was the most beautiful song the birds had ever heard! They were so impressed that not one bird made a peep as she sang!
When Robin finished, all the birds flapped their wings and chirped with joy. Robin was amazed, too.
She had done it! She looked down at Sparrow and gave her a big smile of thanks.
Then Wise Old Owl flew next to Robin and said, “You have sung the best of all the birds in the forest. Here is the golden egg for your prize!”
Full of happiness, Robin hugged her friend Sparrow. This was the best day of her life, and she was glad she took a chance!

Yes, I love Bamboo!
The fox grapes
Once, a fox lived in the forest. One day, while looking for food, the fox found a garden with a lot of vines from which grew bunches of red, ripe grapes.
The fox said to himself, “wow! The grapes must be mine!” So he tried his best to knock the grapes down with a stick, but he didn't succeed. Soon, the fox got tired and decided to take a nap. He dreamed that he had bunches of the red, ripe grapes to eat.
While the fox was sleeping, some farmers came to pick the grapes. They filled many baskets with grapes, loaded them in a truck, and drove away.
The loud noise from the truck woke the fox. He quickly realized that all the grapes were gone!
He said to himself, “Surely those grapes are sour. I only like the sweet ones.” And then the fox went away.
The grape leaves laughed and said, “what a lazy fox! If he had tried harder, he would have eaten tasty grapes. Nothing comes easy without hard work!”
